Noon Meal Scheme

The Foremost objective of the Nutrition's Meal Programme is to motivate Children from economically backward families to pursue education by providing adequate nutritious meal to them in order to reduce School drop out rates. It also aims to eradicate malnutrition and increase the literary rate.  In Tiruppur District there are  1269 Noon Meal Centre are functioning in Primary, Middle and High Schools and 1423 in Anganwadies.
